- Margins - 1 inch
- Readable Typeface - such as Times New Roman, 12 points
- Double space
- Indent - first line of the paragraph, 1/2 inch from left margin
- Punctuation space - one space after periods or other punctuation
- Heading - 1 inch from the top, flush left, double spaced
- Your Name
- Your Instructor's name
- Course Number
- Date (months may be abbreviated)
- Title - double space after the heading and centered on the page
- Running Head - 1/2 inch from the top, flush right
- Last Name page number (ex: Stringer 2)
- Works Cited - 1 inch from the top, centered, running head continued
- Double space between the title and first entry
- Entry flush left, indent each subsequent line 1/2 inch
